Muriel Hope was a British landscape and portrait painter based in London. Born in Manchester on the 8th June 1902, with a twin sister Rosa S Hope. She studied at the Slade School of Art where she won a prize for figure painting. Exhibited at the N.E.A.C, the Goupil Gallery, provincial galleries and at the Paris Salon. She died in 1963.
