Sherman, Albert

Albert Sherman, a painter, was born 1882, Cornwall, England; 

He arrived in Australia after World War 1. 

Sherman died in 1971.

He studied at The Central Technical School, Truro, Cornwall (with W.A. Rollason).  

Known mainly for flower pieces; 

He was a member RAS, Sydney, from 1928.  

A book on his work ‘The Flower Paintings of Albert Sherman’ was published by Angus and Robertson, in 1955.
